Of all the skills you can teach your kids, teach them perseverance.
A’s in school demonstrate mastery of memory. Memorizing facts and formulas won’t equip them for long term success in the real world.
Perseverance surpasses knowledge. Perseverance will collect the necessary knowledge for success, but knowledge does not naturally lead to perseverance.
Model success to them by example; keeping at it until you figure it out, until you win, until you complete the project powerfully.
Welcome the obstacles; show them they are a part of the path.
So demonstrate to your kids your DAILY PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE. Push through unaffected, incrementally moving toward the goal!
